StageCoach Yarn Shop began as a dream of mine from way back. When I was a child living in New England, my mother drove through a rural area that was dotted with many open fields (which was rare where we were living). I vowed back then that was the type of place I wanted to live when I grew up. Then in senior high school, when you had to fill out what you wanted to be when you grew up, my ambition was to be my own boss. Well, I have grown up (although some may disagree with that) , raised my family back in New England and found myself now living in rural Iowa. I love it here.  I wish someone had told me about Iowa way back then. I am now full-filling both my dreams and ambitions.  I live surrounded by open fields and am opening my own business.

I have been a knitter/crocheter from way back (cold New England winters and 3 children give you time and reason). What better way to open a business than to go with what you love doing and sharing it with others!
